All classes remote on Oct. 5, 6 | School buildings closed for deep cleaning

On Sunday, Oct. 4, the district learned that a staff member has tested positive for Covid-19.

All students in Tri-Valley Elementary and Tri-Valley Secondary school will attend classes remotely on Monday, Oct. 5 and Tuesday, Oct. 6. Both schools will be closed for deep cleaning.

Students who attend BOCES for full-day instruction (who never come on to the Tri-Valley campus and are transported directly to BOCES) will attended classes as scheduled on Oct. 5 and Oct. 6.

Superintendent Michael Williams said the staff member is in quarantine. Anyone who was in close contact with the staff member and deemed at risk for exposure to the COVID-19 virus will be contacted by the Sullivan County  Public Health Department.
