Here are some tips to help you prepare for 7th grade!

Have 2 large binders: 1 for your morning classes, 1 for the afternoon. More than 1 class can share a binder and students are encouraged to only go to their lockers in the morning and at lunch so they need to carry everything with them!

If possible, practice opening a combination lock in order to prepare for your locker!

You will need an extra set of clothes for gym. You will also get a locker in the locker room to store them. If you don’t have gym clothes (or sneakers), you get a 0!

If you have questions prior to the school year, feel free to reach out!

While most classes are in the 7th grade wing, some are located in the high school. Students will need to work on time management this year, three lates to any class automatically results in a referral.

Parent/teacher conferences are on an as-needed basis. Teachers will contact you if a meeting is necessary. Of course, you can always contact us if you’d like to touch base!

Students and parents should check their email regularly. This is how most of our communication takes place. It would be helpful for students to develop this habit over the summer!
