Summer Reading Program 2026 (June 28- August 31)
The library is a wonderful place to ignite your child’s love of reading!
Reading Incentives- All Ages
- Children Ages 0-5 Years and 6-11 Years
Read all summer, log the number of books and minutes read to receive prizes!
- “Tweens”, Teens and Adults
Log the number of books and minutes read and for every 4 books you read you will be entered into our SRP drawing!
- Book BINGO: Ages 6 – 11 years, “Tweens” Grades 5-8, Teens Grades 9-12 and Adults.
Read. Play. Win. To join our Book BINGO challenge, read books that fit the categories listed on the BINGO card for a chance to win free books!
- Bookmark Contest: Ages 5-7 years, 8-11 years and 12-18 years
Students are invited to submit an original design for the library’s Summer Reading Program Bookmark! Winners will receive a $50 Amazon gift card.
Pick up reading logs, BINGO sheets and bookmark contest entry forms at the library or download them from our website.

Ages 0-5 Years- Thursday, July 23 at 5:30 pm
Come dressed in comfortable play clothes and get ready to jump, dance and discover the magic of dinosaurs and foam!
- “3D Printing Event” Grades 1, 2 & 3 Tuesday, July 14 at 5:30 pm
Create it, watch it, paint it… and take it home!
- “Felting Event” Grades 4, 5 & 6 Tuesday, July 21 at 5:30 pm
Join felting expert Christine Adams for a hands-on workshop where participants will create their own felted geode.
- “Dinosaur Eye” Grades 7-12 Thursday, July 16 at 5:30 pm
Create your own prehistoric clay masterpiece in this fun, hands-on teen program!
- Entertainment Night “DINOSAURS ROCK Fossil Adventure” BRINGING DINOSAURS TO YOU!
For all young explorers and their families Thursday, July 30 at 5:30 pm held at the Daniel Pierce Library. Come to the library rain or shine to step back in time and explore the world of dinosaurs with this exciting, interactive & hands-on experience!
