Spring Children’s Programs

The library is a wonderful place to ignite your child’s love of reading!
The following children’s programs are open to caregivers and their children
ages 12 months to 5 years who are residents of the Tri-Valley Central School
District. The spring eight-week long session begins the week of April 8th.
These programs are free and are made possible through the generosity
of our community. Registration is required.

Mother Goose Time (12-23 months) Beginning Wednesday, April 10th
Toddler Time (24-35 months) Beginning Thursday, April 11th
Story Hour (3, 4 and 5 year-olds) Beginning Friday, April 12th
Universal Pre-Kindergarten Story Hour Our “Story Hour on the Road” program visits the three UPK classes at Tri-Valley Central School. Children will be registered at school.

Tri-Valley Chess at the DPL

Wednesdays in April from 3:15 p.m. – 4:45 p.m.
Hop on the bus, join us for snacks, chess, and no stress!
Tri-Valley chess club regular? Chess novice or chess curious?
Come play in our library and let’s organize a tournament event!
Tri-Valley students grades 9-12 only

Teens Teach Tech and Taco Tuesdays:

Program will run May 7th, May 14th, May 28th @ the Daniel Pierce Library!
3:15 p.m. – 4:45 pm
Senior Citizens: First come first serve!

Tri-Valley students grades 9-12 only. Volunteer hours verification will be happily provided.

Rock the Library Jam Session Thursdays for Tri-Valley Teens!

Starting May 9th

Shane Rennison Songwriting Workshop
Bring your instrument and explore alongside local artist, Shane Rennison as he sheds light on his songwriting process.
Goals:
*Demonstrate how music can become a true expression of emotion
*Learn what it means to write a song
*Create songs together as a class using what you’ve learned

Programs will run on May 9th, May 16th and May 23rd at the Daniel Pierce Library.

Adventure Begins with LEGO at the Daniel Pierce Library

Developing our young engineers, architects, scientists and construction workers of the future with our LEGO program for 3-year-olds through grade 6.
We provide the LEGO; you provide the imagination!
