Dear Parents, Guardians, and Student-Athletes of the 2025-2026 seasons,
It is time to plan for the opportunities the Tri-Valley Central School District offers for the 2025-2026 sports seasons. With that in mind, please note the information below that will help you better take advantage of the upcoming programs in interscholastic athletics at Tri-Valley High School for students in grades 7 through 12.
1.) 2025-2026 TVCSD Sports Start Dates:
- The start date and first practices for interscholastic athletics in 2025-2026 for incoming 9th—12th-grade students will be on Monday, August 18, 2025, for cross country, cheerleading, football, soccer, tennis, and girls’ volleyball.
- The start date for interscholastic athletics in 2025-2026 for incoming 7th and 8th graders (as well as 9th graders playing football) will be right after school on Friday, September 5, 2024. This will be for all modified fall sports: cross country, cheerleading, soccer, girls’ volleyball, and football (modified football includes 7th, 8th, and 9th graders).
2.) Sports Sign Ups for 2025-2026: (grades 7-12)
Registrations for the 2025-2026 sports seasons will be processed through Arbiter Sports (Family ID).
Fall Sign-ups for incoming 9th-12th graders (JV and Varsity) athletes will open on July 18th
Fall Sign-ups for incoming 7th and 8th (9th-grade football) (Modified) athletes will open on August 5th
If this is the first time you have done so, please create an account. After setting up your account, use your login to sign up for the sports program for which you would like to register. For returning athletes, parents can simply log in to their existing account and register for their fall sport for 2024.
3.) Annual Required Health Exams
Parents should plan to provide the school nurse with an updated private physical using an NYSED Health Exam Form so that their child can participate in interscholastic athletics for the 2025-2026 school year. If your student requires any medication, please provide an updated order to the nursing staff. All registration paperwork should be completed and submitted two weeks in advance of the first official team practice listed above so that the school nurses can clear your student in time for participation in the first team practice.
4.) The TVCSD Athletic Calendar:
All game schedules and athletic events for all sports for the 2025-2026 season will be listed on the Tri-Valley Athletics Calendar. You can sign up to create an account to follow/track your child’s team schedule and receive instant schedule change notifications to your email and/or cell number.
5.) Winter and Spring Season Information
Winter Sign-ups for 9th-12th graders (JV and Varsity) athletes will open on October 17th. The first day of the JV/Varsity Winter season is November 17th.
Winter Sign-ups for 7th and 8th graders (Modified) athletes will open on October 24th. The first day of the Modified Winter season is November 24th.
Spring Sign-ups for incoming 9th-12th graders (JV and Varsity) athletes will open on February 9th. The first day of the JV/Varsity Spring season is March 9th.
Spring Sign-ups for 7th and 8th graders (Modified) athletes will open on February 16th. The first day of the Modified Spring season is March 16th.
