On Wednesday, August 5, Tri-Valley Central School District hosted its fourth annual Tri-Valley Summer Bear Bash, welcoming approximately 350 students, families, and community members for an evening of fun, connection, and community resources.
The event featured a variety of activities for attendees to enjoy, including face painting, Touch-A-Truck, bouncy houses, and much more. The Summer Bear Bash provides an opportunity for our school community to come together before the start of a new school year while connecting families with local organizations, resources, and community partners.
We are incredibly grateful to the many community organizations, businesses, volunteers, and student groups who helped make this year’s Bear Bash such a success. Their time, energy, and enthusiasm helped create a fun and welcoming evening for everyone who attended.

The Bear Bash also provided an opportunity for families to meet Tri-Valley’s incoming Superintendent, Dr. Joseph Lloyd, who joined the event and spent time connecting with students, families, and community members. Dr. Lloyd was excited to meet members of the Tri-Valley community and take part in the evening’s festivities as he prepares to officially begin his role as Superintendent.
