Dear Tri-Valley Central School District Community,
On behalf of the Tri-Valley Board of Education, we are very pleased to inform you that on June 30, 2026, the Board agreed to offer Dr. Joseph Lloyd the position as our new superintendent of schools. Dr. Lloyd is currently the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources in the South Orangetown Central School District. Pending the successful negotiation of a contract, the Board will make a formal appointment at an upcoming Board of Education meeting. It is anticipated that he will assume the position in August 2026.
The Board would also like to take this opportunity to thank those members of the school community who provided feedback to the Board during this process, as it helped inform the Board of the qualities and characteristics demanded of our next superintendent. Rest assured, we have found them in Dr. Joseph Lloyd. We look forward to your anticipated support of our new superintendent and your continued support of our school district!
