Tri-Valley Participates in the Big Apple Crunch

Each year, on or around October 24th, participants from across the state are invited to take a bite out of an apple grown in New York. The program began in 2012 as a partnership between nonprofit group GrowNYC and the NYC Office of Food Policy, and has only grown from there. Hundreds of thousands of students at schools and college campuses statewide now join in every year.

On October 27th, Tri Valley CSD took part in The Big Apple Crunch!

This was
year two of Tri-Valley participating. The FFA purchased the apples for the Big Apple Crunch from the Wightman Fruit Farm and the FFA purchased apple related books for all classes in the Elementary School.
