Voters approve 2024-25 budget, elect three to Board of Education

On Tuesday, May 21, 2024, Tri-Valley Central School District residents approved the proposed 2024-2025 budget of $37,273,719.

The budget results are as follows:
269 yes votes and 94 no votes.

This budget represents a 2.13% increase over the current year’s budget.

This budget aligns with the district’s vision of building a community that enables students to excel in a changing world and staff to grow professionally and gives the opportunity for staff and administration to collaboratively reduce costs while continuing to meet students’ needs.

The three candidates elected to the three at large seats on the Board of Education on May 21, 2024 are as follows:

  • Keri-Ann Poley- term will begin July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2027
  • Nicole Burkey- term will begin May 23, 2024 through June 30, 2027
  • Rose Woods- term will begin July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2027
