The Transportation Department is responsible for the safe transportation of students to and from school, on field trips, to extracurricular and athletic events, and more.
Bus Rules
- Remain in your seat
- Keep your hands and your feet to yourself
- Use your inside voice; be polite
- No eating or drinking unless authorized
- Follow all crossing procedures
- Treat one another with respect
- No weapons
- No live animals or insects
Bus Notes
If your child will be riding a bus other than the one to which they are assigned, the child must bring in a note signed by a parent or guardian requesting the change.
The bus note must include:
- The student’s name
- The name and phone number of the student’s parent/guardian
- The date the note is in effect
- The address – including house number, street name, and town – where you are allowing your child to go
- The bus number or symbol
- The name and phone number of the person taking responsibility at the discharge location
