Transportation

The Transportation Department is responsible for the safe transportation of students to and from school, on field trips, to extracurricular and athletic events, and more.

Bus Rules

  • Remain in your seat
  • Keep your hands and your feet to yourself
  • Use your inside voice; be polite
  • No eating or drinking unless authorized
  • Follow all crossing procedures
  • Treat one another with respect
  • No weapons
  • No live animals or insects

Bus Notes

If your child will be riding a bus other than the one to which they are assigned, the child must bring in a note signed by a parent or guardian requesting the change.

The bus note must include:

  • The student’s name
  • The name and phone number of the student’s parent/guardian
  • The date the note is in effect
  • The address – including house number, street name, and town – where you are allowing your child to go
  • The bus number or symbol
  • The name and phone number of the person taking responsibility at the discharge location
